Founded and launched Sharing the Wander a niche travel blog focusing on road trips and traveling with children. Self-hosted, she built the site in WordPress.org and grew the brand on Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook. She wrote the content and optimized it for SEO while working to increase the site’s backlinks and DA.

 

Created and implemented a five-year strategic vision for this e-commerce specialty food brand designed to increase sales, maximize strengths, and expand customer base while streamlining internal processes. She launched the brand on Amazon, Google Shopping, and across social channels. She also initiated the development of a wholesale division, including participation in major trade shows, identifying high-priority leads, and creating marketing materials.

 

Led the development of the Mudpuppy toy and gift product line into a global brand with sales of over 6 million USD/year. A subsidiary of McEvoy Group (Chronicle Books), she determined strategic direction and initiated partnerships to expand the reach of the brand. Increased sales by over 30% in three years despite a recession by diversifying price points, expanding the product mix, and increasing international viability.
